Social security office

Staff are professional andpleasant. Office is small, but spacious enough and clean. Go in prepared with all necessary paperwork and identification, don't expect everything to be done yesterday, especially if you didn't plan. Treat the staff like people. My experience was a positive one.

Trying to speak to someone at this location on the phone is almost impossible. When someone did decide the answer after an hour of it ringing she hung up on me because I asked to speak to someone who actually cared to help. I went into the office and the first gentlemen was pleasant but told me I had to wait and speak to someone else. After meeting with her she told me another issue had to be solved with someone else. I was in there for 2 hours and walked out. There were only 2 people in the waiting room and staff kept walking in and out with plates of food. Everyone in here looked and acted miserable. The security guard sat on his phone the entire time and was snippy with old people. Not sure why some people choose a career that is supposed to provide a service for the American people and are so incredibly rude. Do better!

Cool people I'm say the the white people are cooler

I waited for an hour first. Then the lady said that I have to go back to my seat and wait again for someone, because she can’t help me ( new ssn I guess very hard). Then I waited another 30 min and left.

I personally dropped off TWO envelopes in the dropbox with all my contact info on the front of both and they were stapled together... inside was EVERY piece of identifying documentation including birth certificate, original soc sec card, medical documents showing my identity, marriage certificate, adoption certificate, application, and a few others just to get my daughters last name changed so she can get an ID ... that was TWO months ago. Nothing was ever sent back so i went there in person today with my daughter and THEY HAVE LOST EVERY SINGLE DOCUMENT! She cannot get a job, open a bank account, see a doctor, apply to college... NOTHING because they have lost every piece of identifying documentation for her. I am livid!

Waited for 25 mins for a rude man to ignore my questions. I told him we were changing last name after marriage. Said, y'all waited for 2 years (as offices were closed) you can wait for longer." I do not feel safe sending original and only documents through the mail. They wouldn't even take certified copies of marriage license that the county gave us."

After losing my daughter's application twice I was given an apt to go inside to bring my daughters ID. Upon arrival I immediately was approached by the arrogant, rude, ignorant security guard who told me I had no apt and closed the door on my face twice. I didn't even get the chance to explain anything to him he was totally rude. I called the supervisor to remedy the situation BUT I've never in my 36 years was treated the way I was by that security guard UNPROFESSIONAL

Good service for Italians

I went in late in the day and was able to be serviced promptly by Randy. He reviewed my case, answered all my questions and forwarded all my information to my case manager . Randy provided exemplary and knowledgeable service. I cannot thank him enough.

Cleanliness was great, no lines, no long wait time at least at the time of my visit, the security guard very helpful, customer service great.
